Lions Club International was founded in the year 1917. The mission of Lions Clubs International Foundation is to support the efforts of Lions clubs and partners in serving communities locally and globally, giving hope and impacting lives through humanitarian service projects and grants. Churchgate Lions Service Funds is registered on 31st December, 1982 under the Society Registration Act and registered on 2nd May,1983 with Charity Commissioner Mumbai, having 80G and 12H certificates, Churchgate Lions Service Funds also registered with ministry of corporate affairs under CSR. The club has been involved in several need-based projects including a charitable medical Centre, financial support for medical and educational services, hunger projects, rural welfare programs and environmental projects, the details are in the following pages.
